So let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I had a wonderful childhood in leafy Surrey and for as long as I can remember people consistently came to me for advice, counsel and positive influence.

I always had a real interest in people and society; this translated into my choice of degree where I studied Criminology & Sociology. A somewhat predictable path followed this; I worked in various mostly consultative roles in the creative and corporate spheres.

As a child I had grown up visualising my future self wearing suits, driving a nice car, earning good money and living a comfortable life – this is what success looked like for me, so by my own admission I was on the right path! However, the reality of corporate life was being overworked, underappreciated and living with an uncomfortable amount of stress – which was never truly acknowledged.

Fast forward a few fatigued years and I very suddenly lost my Mum to cancer. This was the turning point for me.

I naturally felt heartbroken, dazed and disillusioned with life, so decided to take some time out.

After a period of self-reflection and re-evaluation of my life, I realised I could use my gifts and personal understanding to help people on a wider scale.

I wanted to do something that added value to humanity, rather than just being another number on the payroll. I wanted to make a real tangible difference and shift into something less soul destroying, something I could gain job satisfaction from and something that was truly meaningful to me.

I established that after going through this life changing event, observing my family struggling and being put on year long waiting lists and witnessing services such as counseling, therapy, CBT and IPT I wanted to be able to help people in a more immediate and appreciable way.

I have found life coaching and NLP to be a breath of fresh air, as it focuses on the present and future rather than dwelling on the past. This alone for me is powerful, as reliving my past over and over is not productive. I do not see the merit in having a backward focus, in business or in life, so the fact it is outcome and solution focused really resonates with me.

I have experienced first hand the transformational and truly life changing nature of coaching and am eager to empower others to find their voice and unashamedly live a happy and authentic life.
